1. Scope and applicable law
This policy explains how Grid Green Global WLL handles personal data collected through gridgreen.global, related correspondence and linked enquiry forms. We process personal data in accordance with Bahrain’s Law No. (30) of 2018 with Respect to Personal Data Protection (the Personal Data Protection Law) and other applicable requirements.
2. Personal data we collect
Depending on how you use the website, we may collect:
- your name, business contact details, company, role and location;
- project, technical or commercial information included in an enquiry;
- records of correspondence and our response;
- technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, timestamps and pseudonymous analytics identifiers; and
- any other information you choose to provide.
3. Why we use personal data
We use personal data to respond to enquiries, assess projects, prepare requested information, operate and secure the website, understand aggregate website use, maintain business records, and comply with legal obligations. Where required, processing is based on your consent. Otherwise, it is carried out for legitimate business purposes, steps requested before entering a contract, performance of a contract, or compliance with law, as applicable.
4. Microsoft Forms and other recipients
Project and battery enquiries open in Microsoft Forms. Information submitted there is received and processed using Microsoft’s services so our authorised team can review and respond. We may also share relevant data with service providers, professional advisers, regulators, public authorities, and project partners where necessary and lawful. Providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices or under contractual instructions.
5. International transfers
Grid Green Global operates internationally and some recipients or technology providers may process data outside Bahrain. Where a cross-border transfer is subject to legal restrictions, we use an applicable transfer mechanism or obtain required permission and apply appropriate safeguards.
6. Retention and security
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry or business relationship, record-keeping, legal obligations and dispute management. Retention depends on the nature of the information and applicable requirements. We use reasonable organisational and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.
7. Cookies, local storage and analytics
The public website may use essential browser storage. Its first-party usage measurement uses pseudonymous identifiers in local or session storage. It does not intentionally set marketing cookies in its current configuration. External destinations such as Microsoft Forms or social networks may use their own cookies and similar technologies under their notices.
8. Your rights
Subject to the Personal Data Protection Law and any lawful exceptions, you may ask for access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, blocking or erasure, or object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent, without affecting earlier lawful processing. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
9. Questions and complaints
To exercise a right or ask a privacy question, email enquiries@gridgreen.global. You may also raise a complaint with Bahrain’s competent Personal Data Protection Authority.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services, processing or legal obligations change. The latest version and effective date will remain on this page.
